The Joy Of Rawk

Sometimes being in a band is the greatest thing ever. Sometimes however, it sucks. It is like being married to a whole group of people who all have their own agendas and perspectives and issues. It seems to take the organisation of a military operation to get said people into a room together just to make some noise. Before too long friendships lie in tatters and egos become inflated beyond all recognition.

So, in keeping with the above sentiments, I am forming a new band. This new band is going to be nothing more than an experiment in keeping the "sucks" to a minimum and the "greats" to a maximum. To go into a room beaten by the ravages of the daily grind and leave grinning like special needs kids. A band whose chief aim is to be able to play a 20 minute set without falling about laughing. A band where there is community not competition.

And we will sound like Pavement.
